(INVERNESS, Fla.)
Gro-Pro LLC announces the addition of two new members to the Gro-Pro team: Jennifer Niemi, Financial Analyst, and Erika Canady, Product Communication Manager. Jennifer and Erika will be based in Gro-Pro’s Cary, N.C., office.
Niemi serves an important role in allowing Gro-Pro to continue to expand its product line to offer customers more options and better value. Her financial perspective and guidance will enable Gro-Pro to responsibly manage growth while also building a viable, long-term business model.
Niemi spent the last eight years with BASF Corporation in the Ag Products Division in their financial department. She understands the pesticide industry including products, competitors, marketing programs and above all, customers. Prior to BASF, she worked in accounting with various companies after earning her bachelor’s degree from University of Minnesota, Duluth.
As Product Communication Manager, Canady is responsible for communications and other marketing activities as well as state registrations. The addition of a dedicated communication professional will ensure that Gro-Pro continues to support its distributor focus.
Canady brings ten years’ experience in communications within the chemical industry. Most recently she was management supervisor at Rhea & Kaiser Marketing Communications, working on the Bayer CropScience account. Prior to that, Canady worked as a communications manager for Novartis Crop Protection, now Syngenta Crop Protection, and as a marketing manager for Spectrasite Communications.
Gro-Pro LLC focuses exclusively on the non-crop, specialty markets. The company offers multiple products for turf and ornamental, pest control and vegetation management and forestry.
